By Braden Chalker San Jose Earthquakes are all set to take on in-state rivals LA Galaxy Wednesday night in Leagues Cup West Group 2 action. San Jose fell in their opening Leagues Cup fixture against Liga MX giants Chivas 0-0 (4-3 on penalties) in front of a crowd of 50,000-plus at Levi’s Stadium. The Earthquakes went in front six minutes in thanks to a goal from Jeremy Ebobisse, but they were unable to see out the result as Robert Alvarado equalized in the 98th minute before the penalty shootout.
