Chelsea lacked any real attacking spark last night as they exited the Carabao Cup at the Round of 16 stage last night. The Blues were beaten by Newcastle United 2-0, after defeating the same opponent at Stamford Bridge just four days earlier. Enzo Maresca decided to make 11 changes to the starting side from that game, with a number of fringe players being given the chance to prove a point to the manager.
