Littler, 16, eased to victory against the five-time world champion on Saturday night by producing a staggering display against an opponent 40 years his senior. The teenager wasn’t even alive when Van Barneveld won his fifth world title in January 2007. A clash against Brendan Dolan, who’s already knocked out former champions Gerwyn Price and Gary Anderson in the tournament, awaits for Littler.
