Norway’s Crown Prince Haakon will fill in for the king’s appointments. This week, the main events include audiences and the weekly meeting with the government on Friday. The king has suffered several illnesses in the past few years, most recently last October he was ill with a Covid-19 infection. The octogenarian has been Norway’s head of state for 33 years.
