The death toll from severe flooding in Spain has climbed to at least 95, authorities said on Wednesday. Emergency services in the particularly hard-hit eastern region of Valencia – known as the Valencian Community – reported at least 92 deaths in a post on X. Two further victims have been recorded in the neighbouring region of Castilla-La Mancha, while another person died in the southern city of Málaga. Dozens of people are still missing, with numerous areas cut off by the flooding after heavy rains.
