A US city on the outskirts of Detroit, Michigan, passed a Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) resolution on Tuesday, supporting Palestinian rights amidst Israel’s ongoing war on Gaza. The city of Hamtramck passed the resolution, which states it will make “all best efforts to refrain from purchasing goods and services from any vendor that is the target of a BDS campaign”.
