Tokyo stocks fell Thursday morning as technology stocks were sold after declines of their U.S. counterparts overnight amid caution over the prospects for the global high-tech industry. The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average fell 160.60 points, or 0.41 percent, from Wednesday to 39,116.79. The broader Topix index was down 12.62 points, or 0.47 percent, at 2,691.10.
