Dozens of bodies have been recovered from Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip following the Israeli withdrawal there, according to Palestinian reports. A spokesman for the civil defence, which is controlled by the Palestinian Islamist Hamas movement, said on Tuesday that 42 bodies had been found in Bani Suhaila in the east of Khan Younis.
