Federal authorities arrested a Burlington County man Tuesday on multiple charges alleging he led the charge of rioters who broke into the U.S. Capitol’s Rotunda doors on Jan. 6, 2021. Lee A. Giobbie, 40, of Eastampton, is charged with felony civil disorder and five related misdemeanors, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C. announced. Giobbie is the 40th person from New Jersey, or with strong ties to the Garden State, to be charged with a Jan. 6 offense.
