German Bundesliga club Bochum on Friday announced the acquisition of Japanese midfielder Koji Miyoshi from England third-tier side Birmingham City. The 27-year-old joins Bochum on a four-year contract through the end of June 2028. “The German first division is one of the best leagues in the world. I want to prove my worth and help the team,” Miyoshi said. Miyoshi was with Belgium’s Royal Antwerp between 2019 and 2023 before moving to then second-tier Birmingham.
