Emergency services are at the scene of a multi-vehicle crash which is expected to cause hours of delays. Motorists are currently queuing on the M20 between Junction 6 for Sandling and Junction 7 for Detling, near Maidstone. Two fire engines are the scene after reports of the collision came in just after 9am. A fire service spokesman said: “People are being asked to avoid the area and to please find an alternative route due to the heavy amount of traffic.” National Highways expects the incident to be cleared just after 1pm.
