Sweden’s Linn Svahn and France’s Lucas Chanavat won the first stage of the Tour de Ski in Toblach, Italy on Saturday. Svahn topped all of her heats in the women’s sprint and clocked 3 minutes 01.22 seconds to beat team-mate Jonna Sundling by 0.07 second. Title holder Frida Karlsson, also from Sweden, was eliminated in the quarter-finals, while World Cup leader Jessie Diggins of the United States was out in the semi-finals.
