Canada’s appeal against a six-point deduction in the Olympic women’s football tournament in connection with a drone affair has been dismissed by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). The world’s highest sports court said on Wednesday that its ad-hoc division at the Games turned down the Canadian appeal to nullify or reduce the sanction imposed last week by football’s ruling body FIFA.
