Israel’s Defence Minister Yoav Gallant has outlined a plan for the Gaza Strip, saying he believes that the Palestinians will be responsible for the civil governance of the area after the end of the war. He also said there were no plans for Israeli settlers to occupy the area. “There will be no Israeli civilian presence in the Gaza Strip after the goals of the war have been achieved,” Gallant told Israeli media on Thursday.
