Over 210 runners turned out for the first Wisbech Junior Parkrun of 2024. It was also a landmark day for one of the volunteers – Marcus Retchless who earned his Volunteer 50 wristband. He was one of 21 volunteers who helped ensure the event ran smoothly. There were two first-timers and there were also two runners who recorded personal bests – Finley Kidger and Elliott Smith, who were both in the JM10 category. One runner was presented with a half-marathon wristband. The parkrun is held every Sunday from 9am and is open to four to 14-year-olds at Wisbech Town Park.
