Firefighters have sounded the alarm after a tumble dryer went up in flames injuring two people. The duo were treated for shock and smoke inhalation after the appliance caught alight and set fire to a garage in Romney Marsh. Firefighters were alerted to Lade Fort Crescent, Lydd-on-Sea, Romney Marsh, at about 7.50pm as the flames took hold.
