Two West Norfolk Athletic Club members booked their place in the area finals at the annual Norfolk cross-country championships at Earlham Park, in Norwich. Thomas Murray and Evie Clayton both secured top-five finishes on the day with the first five runners in each age category progressing to the next stage. The popular event always attracts a high level of competition across what is quite a difficult course, although after a storm mid-race last year the weather held off for a more pleasant experience for the runners.
