Officials in Florida are searching for a boater who fatally struck a juvenile while she was waterskiing on Saturday. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said the hit-and-run occurred at around 4:30 p.m. Saturday near Nixon Beach, off Key Biscayne in Miami-Dade County, and the girl died of her injuries. The agency did not identify the victim, but the girl’s family identified her on Sunday as 15-year-old Ella Ridley Adler.
