I see Nottinghamshire County Council is planning to spend £4m on road repairs. While I am sure many, many places will be vying for attention, could I suggest that Great North Road near the British Sugar beet factory is given priority. While watching everyone weave about the road to avoid the potholes looks amusing, I am sure it is very dangerous. — R. Miller, via email.
