Ukraine has successfully deployed a drone near the northern Russian city of St Petersburg, a Ukrainian minister said on Thursday, as Moscow and Kiev fired projectiles across each other’s borders. “Yes, this night we hit a target, and this piece flew exactly 1,250 kilometres,” Oleksandr Kamyshin, the industry minister responsible for armaments, said during a public discussion at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in the Swiss ski resort of Davos.
